Filing a Request to Arbitrate

A request to arbitrate can be filed by submitting a simple description of the dispute, along with identification of parties and initial filing fee. The parties can use the Standard Demand for Arbitration. Lawyers representing parties in such disputes may prefer to use their own forms or formats. The arbitration agreement between the parties must be submitted along with the Demand for Arbitration. A copy of the Demand must be sent to the other parties in the dispute.
