Form Overview
The Standard Employer Policy Manual provides a framework for implementing general policies and procedures for managing the employer work force. The statement of general policies prohibits various forms of discrimination and establishes the proposition of equal opportunity. Hiring guidelines, performance appraisals, and compensation policies are also addressed. General policies regarding smoking, telephone use, relationships with clients and absenteeism are covered. A conflict of interest policy is provided along with disciplinary and employee grievance procedures. A non-discrimination notice for posting on the premises of employer is provided (Exhibit A) along with a draft generic employment application (Exhibit B). General employment agreements are included for exempt and non-exempt employees (Exhibits C and D). A form for issuing warning statements is included as Exhibit E.
