Form Overview
The Construction Agreement for partial construction engages a Contractor to complete construction of a partially completed office building. The revised Plans and Specifications are incorporated into the Agreement by reference to Exhibit (not included). The proposal prepared by Contractor is expected to address the details of completing the Building and is also incorporated by reference to an Exhibit (not included). The estimated price is paid from the proceeds of the construction loan and Contractor agrees to abide by the terms thereof. Construction activities commence within thirty days after the contract is signed, and Owner agrees to indemnify Contractor from structural defects arising from activities preceding the effective date of the contract. Owner responsibilities are set forth in the Agreement and include utilities, landscaping, trim selection and environmental impact fees. The Agreement is based upon Florida law (St. John's County).
