Form Overview
The Software Development Agreement favoring the developer provides a structured arrangement for developer control of the engagement. The development process involves seven overall tasks, each of which is supported by a deliverable subject to customer approval. The arrangement includes a 90-180 day testing period for customer evaluation of the software. The developer agrees to provide maintenance services for the testing period. At the end of the testing period, the customer has the option of entering a license agreement, as provided by exhibit (not included), as well as a maintenance agreement (not included). This agreement structures a joint effort between developer and customer under which both parties perceive benefits: developer retains ownership of the asset for future sales and customer obtains a license to use customized technology.
