Douglas Smith has over 25 years of experience in representing vendors, suppliers and customers in transactions, disputes, negotiations, mediation, arbitration, and litigation matters relating to Information Technology systems, Outsourcing, HVAC systems, Process Controls, Building Controls, Alarm and Security Systems, commission disputes, employment contracts, employment issues, wrongful terminations, and ERISA. Recently, he seved as chairman of a national AAA Arbitration panel in a complex dispute between two major Internet Backbone Service Providers involving claims of breach of contract, fraud and misrepresentation, and trade secret violations.

Douglas is a graduate of the University of Georgia, and Emory School of Law and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. He is a certified mediator in Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida, and is a Navy JAG Lieutenant.
