Arbitration Administrative Issues

Once a Demand for Arbitration is received an Administrator will be assigned to your case. The Administrator will acknowledge receipt of the Demand and advise you of any outstanding prerequisites to proceeding within five calendar days of receiving the Demand. You will be provided notice of acceptance of your case by e-mail ("Acceptance Notice"). Until you receive notice that the Administrator has accepted your case for processing, the case has not been accepted for processing.

The Administrator will confirm completeness of the Demand for Arbitration, receipt by all parties and payment of the initial filing fee. The Administrator will contact the parties to solicit the selection of an Arbitrator within five days of the date of Acceptance Notice. If the parties do not agree to the selection of the Arbitrator within fifteen days of the Date of Acceptance Notice, the Administrator will appoint an Arbitrator.

The appointed Arbitrator will review the Demand and any Responses. The Arbitrator will schedule a conference call with the parties to establish the appropriate procedures and schedule for processing the case.

The Arbitrator is responsible for adjudication of the case. The Administrator is responsible for processing invoices, payments and fees as well as administrative matters. Failure to pay invoices within thirty days of receipt shall result in termination of Arbitration Services. Termination shall be by written notice.
